Cunha brace and Vinícius strike: Brazil beat Haiti 3-0 in Philadelphia

Matheus Cunha was the standout performer with a decisive brace, opening the scoring in the 23rd minute and striking again in the 36th to put Brazil in control at 2-0, a scoreline that reflected their superiority. The striker repaid the faith shown in him with goals.

Just before the interval, in the 45th minute, Vinícius Júnior made it 3-0 to put the game beyond reach. The Brazilian star added his attacking quality and capped a flawless first half for his side.

In the second half, Brazil managed their lead without alarm against a combative but outclassed Haiti, who could not turn their effort into clear chances against a disciplined and well-organised Brazilian defence.
