Privacy and cookies
What data is collected when you visit the site, who processes it and how you can prevent it.
The short version
This site has no user accounts, asks for no personal data and has no forms. It uses Google Analytics to measure its audience and Google AdSense for the advertising that funds it, but neither sets any cookie until you accept them in the notice shown on your first visit. If you reject them, analytics keeps running without cookies or identifiers and the advertising is not loaded at all.

What data is processed and why
- Google Analytics 4
- Aggregated browsing data: page views, time on page, traffic source, device type and country. Purpose: to understand which content is of interest and improve the site. IP addresses are anonymised. Without your consent it runs in cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode): it measures in aggregate, with no identifiers and no tracking across sessions.
- Google AdSense
- Browsing data and advertising identifiers used by Google to select and measure ads. Purpose: to fund the project through advertising. The AdSense script is not downloaded at all unless you accept cookies.
- Server logs
- The infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) logs incoming requests for technical and security reasons, including the IP address. These are not used commercially or combined with other data.
- Embedded content
- Some news items embed Instagram posts. When loaded, that content may collect data under Meta's own privacy policy.
Cookies
The site sets no first-party tracking cookies. It only stores two technical preferences in your browser, which never leave your device: your light or dark theme and your answer to the cookie notice. The rest are third-party and require your consent:
- Google Analytics (_ga and similar): analytics, to distinguish visitors and sessions.
- Google AdSense and its associated domains: advertising, to select and measure ads.
A notice appears on your first visit so you can accept or reject them, and your answer is remembered. To change it later, clear this site's data in your browser and the notice will appear again. You can also block these services with an extension, with no effect on how the site works: all content is static HTML and reads exactly the same.
Legal basis and recipients
Processing through analytics and advertising cookies relies on your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a and LSSI art. 22.2), which you may withdraw at any time. Cookieless aggregate measurement and technical server logs rely on the controller's legitimate interest in knowing its audience and keeping the service secure. The recipients are Google Ireland Limited (Analytics and AdSense), Cloudflare, Inc. (infrastructure and delivery) and Meta Platforms Ireland (only on pages with embedded content). These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to the contact given above. Note that the site holds no data that identifies you: the information is kept by the providers named, and their own policies explain how to exercise your rights with them.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Changes to this policy
If the services embedded in the site change, this page is updated in the same rebuild. General terms of use are in the legal notice.
