Biography
Ferran Torres García (Valencian pronunciation: [feˈran ˈtores]; born 29 February 2000) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Spain national team. Nicknamed El Tiburón ("The Shark") by former Barcelona manager Xavi, Torres began his career at Valencia, where he made his senior debut in 2017. He moved to Manchester City in 2020 and won the Premier League and the EFL Cup in the 2020–21 season. He departed for Barcelona in January 2022. Despite initially struggling in his first seasons, he won multiple domestic honours with the club, most notably three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey title, and three Supercopa de España titles, including a domestic treble in the 2024–25 season. In 2026, he signed for Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of €50 million. Torres has represented Spain internationally at various youth levels, and made his debut for the senior team in 2020.
