Biography

Leandro Trossard (born 4 December 1994) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a forward or left winger for Süper Lig club Beşiktaş and the Belgium national team. Trossard began his professional career in Belgium with Genk, scoring 39 goals, before embarking on four consecutive loans between 2012 and 2016. He joined Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion in 2019, and joined Arsenal in 2023 for a reported fee of £27 million (including add-ons), where he won the Premier League. He joined Beşiktaş in 2026 for an initial fee of £15.4 million. Trossard has represented Belgium since joining the under-16 side in 2010. He was named in the senior squads for the UEFA European Championship in 2020 and 2024, as well as the FIFA World Cup in 2022 and 2026.

Early life Trossard was born in Maasmechelen, Limburg, to Peter Trossard and Linda Scheepers on 4 December 1994. He has one younger sister.

Genk Trossard joined the Genk youth academy from the Bocholter VV academy in 2010.
